Tool Room Grinder
This professional must have at least 2 years experience with operation, programming, and setup of an ANCA grinder (TX7 or similar). This positions requires
multiple setups and proficient operation of grinder grinding machines with horizontal or vertical spindle and reciprocating or rotating table to grind flat or
contoured surfaces of metal workpieces usually for limited runs, analyzing specifications and selecting tooling according to knowledge of surface grinding procedures.
Must have experience in geometries, clearance angles, and tolerances required to make and troubleshoot cutting tools including drills, step drills, reamers,
ID boring tools, end mills, and insertable, custom tooling. Must be fluent in manual cutter grinders, surface grinders and ID/OD grinders. Experience operating
programming Tru tech grinders (centerless grinder) is a plus. Must be self-motivated, project driven, and work well in a team environment.
